Quick Start

Quick Start: build your first BinauraWave session

You can explore the Studio without creating an account. Start with the built-in binaural beat builder or add audio files stored on your device to create a more complete listening experience.

1. Open the Studio

Choose a goal in the guided builder or open the timeline to start arranging your session. For binaural beats, wear headphones so each ear receives its intended signal.

2. Add audio from your device (optional)

Use the Audio section to choose local MP3 or other supported audio files. You might use a spoken introduction, a relaxation recording, a main guided session and a finishing track. The audio stays local while you are experimenting; you do not need a hosting subscription to begin.

3. Arrange your clips

With Allow Overlap off, clips run in sequence and you can set gaps between them. With Allow Overlap on, give each clip its own start time and layer recordings. Set volume, fades and stereo position for each clip as needed.

4. Add binaural sound if you want it

Binaural beats are optional. You can work with audio recordings alone, or add custom binaural sound layers using the Studio controls. Start quietly and listen with headphones for the binaural effect.

5. Play, adjust and save a local backup

Listen through your arrangement, make changes and use the Studio’s local backup/export options where available. Keep copies of the original audio files on your device. Browser storage and local backups are not a substitute for a permanent hosted account library.

When do you need Creator hosting?

When you want to reuse uploaded recordings across devices or publish a shareable listening link, Creator hosting is the next step. Its private hosted-audio library lets eligible members select recordings without uploading them again.

A few practical tips

  • Use headphones for binaural beat playback.
  • Start with comfortable, low listening volume.
  • Use a short test session before building a longer one.
  • Keep your source recordings and exported project backups.
  • Do not use listening sessions while driving or undertaking tasks that need your full attention.
